Who am I and why am I writing here? Well, I am a Maritime Warfare Officer, Management Consultant, Leadership Instructor, Husband, Father and Ordinary Golfer.

I have a passion for leadership ideas and my background of 10 years in Management Consulting (Andersen, Deloitte, Accenture) has given me a view of where business often goes wrong. My 10 years leading operations in the Navy has given me a great many ideas around how to apply military leadership and high performance approaches to issues and opportunities in the corporate world. I intend to share these ideas here.

Whilst my sea time is now limited to reserve work here and there I spend my time instructing the next generation of Naval Leaders in Leadership, High Performance and Warfare. The remainder of my time is used advising businesses and individuals on how they can harness military approaches and ideas in their own quest for high performance and a superior, ethical and authentic leadership style.
